The role

We currently have a great opportunity for an attentive and focussed Accounts Payable and or Assistant Accountant Admin guru to join the team with the key focus to ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable.

Reporting to the Finance Manager and well supported by a team of highly skilled accountants this full-time role will primarily be responsible for accounts payable across the business.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Invoice entering and coding
  2. Ensuring approval process adherence
  3. Creditor statement reconciliations
  4. Payment runs
  5. Record & file maintenance
  6. Accounts receivable / banking as required
  7. General admin – office consumables & adhoc support tasks

About you

You will have:

  • A minimum 3 years’ relevant practical experience (combination of administration and AP desirable)
  • Relevant qualifications in business administration or similar discipline
  • Understanding and or experience with XERO, Myob advantageous but not essential
  • Solid financial acumen and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work and perform in a high paced active environment
  • A proactive, innovative, outcome focused approach, bringing energy into the workplace
  • Exceptional communication, time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Current police check
