Located just 40km east of the Adelaide CBD, a short 30 minute drive up the freeway in the Adelaide Hills, Aston Hills Golf Club at Mt Barker offers a relaxed environment for all golf enthusiasts. Club facilities include an 18-hole golf course, Pro golf shop and a clubhouse with functions facilities, currently catering to 590 members and 8,000 green fee players per annum.
Applicants for this position should be highly motivated, hands-on managers, with demonstrated experience in financial and change management, and be able to:
o lead and manage a small team of employees, covering hospitality, club administration and on-course operations;
o develop and implement plans to increase membership, sponsorship and catering revenue;
o understand all issues impacting the Club’s performance, in particular food and beverage operations, but also administration and on-course issues;
o significantly contribute to financial planning, budgeting, productivity improvement initiatives across all facets of the Club’s operations;
o build and sustain relationships with Club members as well as outside the Club
Previous golf club experience and RSA, whilst highly desirable, is not essential. Flexible working arrangements and an appropriate remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
