Mechanic

Reporting directly to the Course Manager, you will be an enthusiastic and experienced individual that will be hands on in the day to day maintenance and servicing of a fleet of equipment, as well as being involved in planning of replacement programs for plant and equipment.

Responsibilities that are involved in this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Maintenance & repair of machinery and small equipment.
  • Experience in agricultural machinery repair and servicing highly regarded
  • Maintain a tidy, clean workshop & compound areas.
  • Maintain service logs on all equipment including stock and advise on budgets and expenditure
  • Ensure that plant and equipment complies with WHS regulations for safe operation
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work schedules
  • Training and development of staff in the general maintenance of equipment and safe operation.

Current and relevant mechanical qualifications required.

The successful applicant will ideally have experience with hydraulic systems and auto electrical. Basic fabrication skills are a must, with knowledge of golf course equipment highly regarded.
