Golf Operations/ PGA Trainee Applicant

The Monash Country Club is a private golf club located on the northern beaches of Sydney in a beautiful bushland setting.

 

An exciting opportunity exists for a Golf Operations Assistant who is applying to become a PGA Trainee Professional in the year 2020.  Monash Country club is looking for a candidate who is not afraid of getting their hands dirty and doing whatever it takes to provide members and guests with a quality all round golfing experience.

 

The Club is currently rebuilding the proshop and ground floor and is excited with the opening of a new facility to the membership.

 

This role will be on a casual basis until the commencement of the PGA Trainee year on January 1 2020.  The position has a high degree of flexibility with a rotating roster and will include weekend work.

 

Duties will include: Retail sales, Course marshalling, Range ball collection, greeting members, cart cleaning, restocking.

 

Desired skills/experience:

·         Can do attitude

·         Applying to become a PGA Trainee in 2020

·         Knowledge of the etiquette of the game

·         Excellent Communication skills

·         Not afraid of hard work

·         Computer skills
