Golf Operations Manager – Pupuke Golf Club
Pupuke Golf Club is looking to appoint a Golf Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day golf operations at Pupuke. The successful candidate will become an integral member of the Pupuke management team and report directly to the General Manager.
Pupuke Golf Club is located on Auckland’s North Shore just 15 minutes from the city centre. Pupuke is one of the most unique and spectacular layouts in New Zealand. Set close to native bush with strategically placed feature trees, the course winds through the woods on one nine and emerges to the beautiful views of the Hauraki Gulf on the other.
The Club’s facilities include a pro-shop, 200m driving range, two short game areas and a putting green. Our Clubhouse has breath taking views of Rangitoto and surrounding nature reserve. The Golf Operations Manager will lead a team of pro-shop starters and have full accountability of the day-to-day golf operations. You will develop strategies to maximise revenue generation, tee booking maximisation and customer satisfaction for both member and green fee players. You will contribute to the advancement of golf at Pupuke and will oversee our development programs for all levels of golf with a particular focus on our Pupuke junior programme.
With a continuous improvement focus you will review all aspects of golf operations, seeking opportunities to enhance the experience for members, visitors and our corporate guests leading to increased member attraction, retention, and engagement.
You will lead your team to deliver first rate commercial and customer experience outcomes. The ability to communicate well with the team, members, guests, and other club employees will be critical to your success.
This is a full-time salaried position that due to the nature of the role will also include some weekend work. The Club is looking for a candidate with excellent customer service and management skills with a strong passion for the game of golf.
