We’re looking for an energetic and hands-on Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to help lead our hospitality team and deliver memorable experiences both on and off the course.

About the Role
Reporting to the NSW Food & Beverage Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our hospitality venues, helping lead the team, support events, drive service standards and create exceptional guest experiences.
This is a hands-on, on-site leadership role role where no two days are the same. One day you may be leading a busy service period, the next coordinating a corporate event or working with the team to drive new initiatives and elevate the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily management of food and beverage operations.
- Lead, coach and support team members
- Conduct shift briefings and provide clear direction to ensure service standards are maintained.
- Assist with onboarding, training and ongoing team development.
- Support the preparation of rosters, labour planning and payroll processes.
- Monitor service levels, customer feedback and assist with service recovery where required.
- Coordinate functions and events, ensuring smooth setup, service delivery and pack down.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen.
- Assist with stock ordering, inventory control, stocktakes and waste management.
- Support revenue growth initiatives and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with RSA, food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintain venue presentation standards and contribute to a positive and engaging workplace culture.
- Support the delivery of special events, activations and promotional initiatives
- Lead by example, bringing energy, professionalism and a solutions-focused approach to every shift.
About You
You will bring:
- Previous leadership experience within food & beverage, hospitality or events
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating a welcoming venue environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- The ability to identify opportunities to improve service, drive revenue and enhance operational performance.
- Confidence contributing new ideas, promotions, activations and guest experiences that bring energy and excitement to the venue.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and time management skills.
- Current RSA certification (required).
- Availability to work a flexible roster including evenings, weekends, public holidays and major event periods
