Cromer Golf Club is a private members’ club on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, offering a welcoming and inclusive environment for golfers of all levels.

Home to the NSW PGA Seniors Championship, our 18-hole championship course provides an enjoyable and challenging golfing experience, supported by quality facilities, coaching programs and a strong calendar of member competitions and events.

The Role

Cromer Golf Club is seeking a motivated and professional PGA Professional to join our Golf Operations team as an Assistant Golf Professional.

Working closely with the Director of Golf, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a progressive private Club. The role offers a varied mix of golf operations, Pro Shop, coaching, club fitting, events and member engagement.

The successful candidate will be involved in:

• Supporting the Director of Golf across day-to-day golf operations.
• Pro Shop operations, retail and exceptional member service.
• Working towards sales targets and KPIs, identifying opportunities to grow sales and member engagement.
• Providing personalised club fitting and equipment recommendations.
• Assisting with Club competitions, corporate golf and member events.
• Supporting Junior and participation programs and coaching initiatives.
• Assisting with member communications, promotions and events.
• Supporting staff training and contributing to a positive team culture.

The Successful Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a current PGA Member or appropriately qualified golf professional.
• Is passionate about golf, equipment and delivering an exceptional member experience.
• Is proactive, organised and commercially minded, with the ability to take ownership and use initiative.
• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is confident working across golf operations, retail, coaching and events.
• Is interested in developing their skills in club fitting, retail and golf operations.
• Is a positive team player committed to ongoing professional development.
• Experience with MiClub and Northstar is highly regarded.
• Is available to work a flexible full-time roster, including weekends and public holidays as required.
