Bowls & Croquet Assistant Greenkeeper

Full-Time or Part-Time (Flexible for the Right Candidate)

Elanora Country Club is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Bowling Greenkeeper to join our Grounds Team.

Located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Elanora Country Club is one of Australia’s premier private clubs, bordered by Garigal National Park and boasting stunning views across the coastline. The Club’s facilities include an 18-hole championship golf course, two bowling greens, croquet lawns, tennis courts and extensive practice facilities.

Working directly alongside the Bowls & Croquet Foreman, you will play an important role in maintaining some of the Club’s most highly regarded sporting surfaces. This is an excellent opportunity to join a passionate and professional team dedicated to delivering exceptional playing surfaces and member experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance and presentation of bowling greens, croquet lawns and surrounding areas
• Garden and landscape maintenance within the bowls and croquet precincts
• Turf renovation and cultural practices
• Fertiliser and pesticide applications
• General grounds maintenance and presentation duties
• Assisting in the delivery of high-quality playing conditions for members and guests

About You

The successful candidate will possess:

• Experience in bowls or croquet turf management is welcomed but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate
• A strong eye for detail and pride in presentation
• The ability to work effectively within a small team environment
• The initiative and self-motivation to work independently when required
• A current ChemCert accreditation or willingness to obtain one
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
