Lead Finance for a Growing Global Technology Company

MiEnterprise Pty Ltd is Australia’s most trusted provider of cloud-based golf and club management software. Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Melbourne, the platform supports over 1000 golf clubs and facilities across the Asia-Pacific region, offering integrated online tee sheets, competition management, and digital scoring.

This is a hands-on senior leadership role for someone who pairs deep technical accounting skill with commercial judgement — and who’s energised by a fast-moving tech environment. You’ll own the numbers, build the systems, and sit at the table where strategy gets made.

 

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Reporting
  • Lead all accounting and finance operations for the Australian business.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
  • Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Planning & Analysis
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Turn analysis into clear recommendations for the executive team, and build the KPIs that track performance against business objectives.
Compliance & Controls
  • Ensure compliance with Australian tax regulations, statutory reporting requirements, and corporate policies.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls and risk management processes.
  • Oversee relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
Business Partnership
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, growth planning, and operational improvements.
  • Support financial due diligence, acquisitions, and expansion initiatives as required.
  • Drive process improvements and automation within the finance function.
Systems & Process Optimization
  • Lead financial systems enhancements and ERP optimization initiatives.
  • Support ongoing improvements within the NetSuite ERP environment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and scalability.

 

Qualifications

  • MBA with concentration in Accounting, CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
  • At least 3 years in a Finance Director or equivalent senior finance role.
  • Experience within a software, SaaS, technology, or high-growth business environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing finance teams.
  • Experience with ERP systems is required.
  • NetSuite ERP experience is highly desirable and will be viewed favorably.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
