  • Full Time

  • $70,000 – $80,000 AUD / Year
  • July 15, 2026

Location: Golf Central BNE, Landers Pocket (Brisbane)

Employment type: Full-time / Part-time (flexible) | Roster: Days, Nights & Weekends

Lead the floor. Lift the experience. Bring the venue to life.

Landers Pocket is one of Brisbane’s most exciting hospitality and entertainment precincts, home to Golf Central BNE and 4 Pines Brewery Landers Pocket.

With food, drinks, events, social experiences, group bookings and high-energy guest moments all under one roof, we are looking for an Experience Supervisor to help deliver smooth, memorable and genuinely welcoming service every shift.

This role is the link between our Experience Manager and our frontline team. You will help run the floor, support the team, coordinate guest flow, solve issues quickly and make sure every guest feels looked after from the moment they arrive.

You do not need to be a golf expert. What matters most is that you know how to lead in a busy venue, create a great atmosphere and help a team deliver confident, polished hospitality.

What you’ll be doing

Running the shift

You will help own the day-to-day flow of the venue, making sure the team, guests and spaces are all moving smoothly.

This includes:

  • Allocating team roles and setting the team up for a successful shift
  • Managing staff breaks and floor coverage
  • Keeping the service areas organised, calm and guest-focused
  • Acting as the first point of support for team questions and shift-level decisions
  • Spotting pressure points early and jumping in where needed
  • Handling routine issues without unnecessary escalation
  • Communicating significant incidents, guest feedback or operational concerns to the Experience Manager
  • Sharing ideas that help improve service, revenue and guest flow

Delivering great guest experiences

You will help create the kind of venue experience people want to come back for.

This includes:

  • Welcoming guests and setting a positive tone from arrival
  • Manage bookings, walk-ins, group arrivals, sessions, wait times and capacity
  • Coordinating parties, corporate events and group bookings using run sheets
  • Solving guest issues calmly and quickly, with a focus on service recovery
  • Finding natural opportunities to upsell extensions, add-ons, packages, upgrades and food and beverage options
  • Making sure every guest feels looked after, not just processed

Coaching and developing the team

You will help build a confident, capable and high-performing Experience team.

This includes:

  • Supporting the onboarding of new Experience Attendants
  • Assisting with training signoffs and regular skill refreshers
  • Coaching team members in the moment, without drama
  • Giving clear direction and constructive feedback
  • Leading by example across service, safety, presentation and pace
  • Helping create a team culture that is positive, professional and fun to be part of

Keeping the venue game-ready

You will help make sure our golf experiences are clean, safe, ready and looking sharp.

This includes overseeing:

  • Play bays
    • Toptracer flow
    • Screens, AV and controllers
    • Bay cleanliness and presentation
    • Guest readiness and smooth changeovers
  • Mini golf
    • Clubs, balls, scorecards and pencils
    • Course presentation
    • Hazard checks
    • Signage, rules and guest flow

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who knows how to lead people, manage a busy floor and create great guest moments.

You will bring:

  • Experience in venue leadership, supervision or senior customer engagement
  • A background in hospitality, entertainment, golf, sport, events or fast-casual environments
  • Strong shift control and ability to make quick, confident decisions
  • A natural coaching style and the ability to lift standards in the moment
  • Clear communication with team members, guests and management
  • Confidence handling guest issues calmly and professionally
  • Comfort using basic venue technology and troubleshooting small issues
  • A safety-first mindset in a dynamic environment with kids, groups, alcohol and equipment
  • Availability across peak periods, including evenings and weekends

Why you’ll love it

This is not a stand-still supervisor role. It is active, social, fast-moving and full of variety.

One moment you might be helping a corporate get started in the bays, the next you could be coaching a team member, solving a booking challenge, checking mini golf presentation or helping a first-time guest hit their best shot of the day.

If you enjoy leading from the floor, creating great vibes and helping people have a genuinely good time, you will feel right at home at Landers Pocket.
