The Role

The Club, an icon of the Australian golf scene and venue for 8 Australian Opens and host of the 2026 Australian PGA Championship, is seeking a standout candidate to replace our highly regarded General Manager.

Reporting to the Board, this key role will be responsible for the planning and delivery of critical strategic objectives identified in the 5-year plan as well as overseeing the successful delivery of the day-to-day operations of the Club. The Club has detailed masterplans in place for both the clubhouse and the course, with major projects to be delivered in the next several years.

Overall leadership responsibilities will include golf course management, golf operations, food and beverage services, financial administration, membership management, corporate client events management, the fostering of key external relationships and our ongoing commitment to the promotion of golf.

About you

We are seeking an outstanding executive who can demonstrate a genuine record of sound team leadership achievement within the golf industry or a similar service organisation.

The successful candidate will also demonstrate a strong commitment towards member communication and member relationships plus expertise in the key areas of, information technology, financial planning, corporate relationship programs and exposure to major event staging.
