Wynnum Golf Club is looking for an experienced and reliable Front of House, Bar & Gaming Supervisor to help lead our front-of-house operations.

This role is perfect for someone who can confidently manage day-to-day service, work independently, and support the team during busy periods including golf events, weddings, functions, and corporate events.

We’re looking for someone who leads by example, maintains high service standards, and brings a positive, professional approach to both team leadership and customer service.

Located in Brisbane’s beautiful Bayside, Wynnum Golf Club offers a welcoming club environment with a busy bar, bistro, TAB, and gaming nook, along with regular golf days and member events. We also host weddings, corporate events, and private functions in our dedicated function space, making every week a little different.

If you have strong bar experience, enjoy leading a team, and can balance both steady day-to-day operations and busy event service, we’d love to hear from you.

Function experience is highly regarded, and gaming experience is a strong advantage.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for supervising daily bar operations, supporting the front-of-house team, maintaining service standards, and helping ensure smooth service across both regular shifts and larger events.

This role requires someone who can work independently, make confident decisions, and help lead and motivate the team.

You’ll also assist with stock control, cellar operations, gaming service, and function and event delivery when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day bar and front-of-house operations
• Lead, train and support bar and floor staff
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Assist with stock rotation, ordering support and cellar operations
• Assist with gaming lounge operations where required
• Support weddings, golf events, corporate functions and private events
• Maintain RSA and RSG compliance standards
• Confidently manage both quieter shifts and busy event periods

About You

• Minimum 2+ years hospitality experience (strong bar experience essential)
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience highly regarded
• Confident working independently and taking ownership of shifts
• Current RSA (essential)
• Current RSG (preferred or willingness to obtain)
• Function experience highly regarded
• Gaming experience highly regarded
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Available to work a rotating roster including weekends and some evenings
