Overview

Millbrook Resort has an iconic and award winning 36-hole champion golf course, which is renowned as world-class in terms of design, beauty and is well-known for co-hosting the NZ Open.

As key members of our Golf Operations team, this role is one of the first points of contact for golfers visiting the resort. From managing bookings and retail sales to assisting guests before and after their round, you will play an important role in ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable golf experience. You will also support the day-to-day operation of the golf shop and practice facilities, helping maintain the high standards Millbrook is known for.

What will your day look like?

  • Welcoming guests and delivering exceptional service throughout their golf experience
  • Managing golf bookings, enquiries and reservations via phone, email and in person
  • Processing retail purchases and payments accurately
  • Providing guests with information about the golf course, facilities and services
  • Supporting the day-to-day operation and presentation of the golf shop
  • Assisting with merchandising, stock presentation and retail sales
  • Preparing golf carts, practice facilities and guest equipment
  • Collecting guest feedback and helping create memorable experiences
  • Supporting golf events and tournaments when required
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of golf facilities and equipment

  • Previous hospitality, retail or customer service experience would be advantageous
  • A knowledge of golf would be beneficial, although not essential
  • You are available to work weekends and public holidays as required
  • Experience with booking systems and point-of-sale systems would be an advantage
  • Driver’s license is advantageous

Location: Arrowtown, Queenstown

Hours: Full-time fixed term (our summer season runs between August and May, with options to transfer to permanent full time available)
