The Goondiwindi Golf & Country Club, a well-regarded sporting and social hub in the Goondiwindi region, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Clubhouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the clubhouse and deliver a welcoming, high-quality experience for members and guests.

About the Role
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Clubhouse Manager will be responsible for the smooth operation of the clubhouse, including bar service, events, staffing, and member services. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being part of the action, leading from the front, and contributing positively to a close-knit club environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the clubhouse, including bar, golf and function areas
Lead, train, and supervise clubhouse staff and contractors to maintain high service standards
Oversee bar operations, stock control, ordering, and cash handling
Coordinate and support club events, competitions, presentations, and social functions
Provide friendly, professional service to members, guests, and visitors
Work with the Board on budgeting, reporting, and operational planning related to clubhouse activities
Ensure compliance with RSA, WHS, licensing, and club policies
Assist with promotions, membership engagement, and sponsor functions
Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-presented clubhouse environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience in hospitality, licensed venues, or club management
Strong people management and communication skills
Sound understanding of bar operations and customer service
Organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
A practical, hands-on approach and strong work ethic
Current RSA certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Interest in golf or club environments (preferred but not essential)
Relevant hospitality or business qualifications (desirable)
