Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, fertilising and watering to ensure optimal playing conditions.
- Implement turf management programs, including pest control and weed eradication, to maintain the health and appearance of greens, fairways and roughs.
- Operate and maintain golf course equipment and machinery to ensure their proper functionality.
- Collaborate with the team to execute course improvement projects, such as bunker renovation and landscaping enhancements.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the golf course.
- Actively contribute ideas for continuous improvement and innovative approaches to enhance the overall golfing experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Greenkeeper/Groundsperson or in a similar role is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of turf management practices, including fertilisation, irrigation and disease prevention.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining turf equipment and machinery.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve course maintenance issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
