About the role

Elanora Country Club is seeking to expand its Course & Grounds team. We are currently seeking expressions of interest for Apprentice Greenkeeper, Groundsperson, and Morning Groundsperson positions. The Apprentice Greenkeeper role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the turf and sports grounds industry. The successful applicant will be supported through a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management, gaining practical experience across all aspects of modern greenkeeping and turf management. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating machinery and seeing the results of your work, a Groundsperson role could be a great fit. The work can include mowing, course presentation, general grounds maintenance and a range of other tasks involved in maintaining a high-quality sporting facility. For the casual morning position, the early start and morning work will suit someone looking for regular early hours who enjoys being outdoors and getting stuck into practical work.

About you

• Reliable and punctual
• Willing to learn and take direction
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically capable of undertaking practical grounds work
• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Interested in developing new skills
• Someone who takes pride in their work and the presentation of the course
• Experience in greenkeeping, grounds maintenance, mowing, landscaping or turf management would be an advantage, but is not essential
