Website Joondalup Resort
About Us
Joondalup Resort is part of the TenGolf Group, one of Western Australia’s leading and fastest-growing golf, hospitality, and wine businesses. We proudly own and operate six golf courses (Joondalup Resort, Meadow Springs GCC, Secret Harbour GL, The Cut GC, Maylands GC, and Embleton GC) and a winery (Aravina Estate), delivering outstanding experiences in golf, dining, events, and lifestyle.
About the Role
As Golf Administrator, you will be the first and main point of contact for golf-related enquiries and bookings, providing efficient, accurate and welcoming support to members, guests, partners and visitors.
You will manage reservations and tee sheets, maintain accurate booking records, coordinate forward scheduling and support golf events, group bookings and day-to-day operations. Working closely with the Golf Operations Manager and teams across the resort, you will help deliver a seamless customer experience while identifying opportunities to maximise tee-time utilisation and revenue.
We’re looking for someone who combines strong administration skills with a genuine service mindset: a highly organised professional who takes ownership, manages competing priorities and communicates confidently with customers, colleagues and external partners.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage golf enquiries and bookings: Respond promptly and professionally by phone, email, online platforms and in person, assisting members, guests, public players, tour operators, hotel guests and organised groups.
- Maintain reservations and tee sheets: Process bookings, changes and cancellations accurately, manage the advance booking calendar and keep customer records current.
- Optimise availability and revenue: Monitor tee-sheet utilisation, identify booking and upselling opportunities, and balance commercial, member and operational requirements.
- Coordinate schedules: Maintain annual and forward schedules covering competitions, public holidays, major course works, maintenance requirements and seasonal operating times.
- Support events and group bookings: Assist with corporate golf days, social groups, golfing networks, tour operators and reciprocal clubs, including preparing banquet event orders where required.
- Connect teams and customers: Communicate booking information and changes clearly across golf operations, course maintenance, hospitality, sales, hotel reservations and administration.
- Manage booking administration: Prepare invoices and process deposits or prepayments in line with approved procedures.
- Report and improve: Produce reports on bookings, tee-time utilisation, participation and event performance, and contribute practical ideas to improve procedures and the customer experience.
- Resolve issues professionally: Handle booking conflicts and customer concerns calmly, escalating operational matters to the appropriate manager when required.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in golf, hospitality, tourism or a related customer service and administration environment.
- Sound knowledge of golf booking systems and tee-sheet administration.
- Confidence using standard computer applications, online booking platforms and customer databases.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach.
- Confidence handling invoices, deposits, prepayments and routine reporting.
- A calm, practical approach to problem-solving and customer concerns.
- A proactive mindset and interest in improving processes, service delivery and commercial outcomes.
Experience within a golf environment would be highly regarded; however, candidates with strong transferable experience in hospitality, tourism, accommodation, events or customer-focused administration are also encouraged to apply.
What We Offer
- A supportive and professional team environment
Opportunities for career development within the TenGolf Group - Staff discounts across resort facilities
- Free parking and access to resort amenities
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- Golf entitlements as a full-time employee
- A beautiful working environment surrounded by championship golf courses
Please submit your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience and interest in the role.
We’d love to hear how your administration, customer service and organisational skills would help us deliver an outstanding golf experience.
