About the role

We are seeking an experienced On-site Live-in Housekeeper / Caretaker to join the Elanora Country Club team. This is a full-time live-in position based at our club in Elanora Heights.

This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, presentation and upkeep of our club’s facilities.

What you’ll be doing

1. Performing daily cleaning and housekeeping duties throughout the club’s facilities, including guest accommodation, common areas, and amenities.
2. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across all club facilities, including clubhouse areas, amenities and shared spaces.
3. Provide laundry services, including washing, drying, folding and managing linen, towels and uniforms.
4. Prepare and service on-site accommodation as required, including room set-ups and changeovers.
5. Assist with the set-up, cleaning and pack-down of club functions and events
6. Provide occasional support during functions, including basic waitering or kitchen hand duties as required.

What we’re looking for

1. Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional can-do approach.
2. Previous experience in a similar housekeeping or caretaker role, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry.
3. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands.
4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
5. Flexibility to work late afternoon / evening shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
6. Confident communication and problem-solving skills.
7. Valid Driver’s license. and current police check
