The Numurkah Golf & Bowls Club, located in Victoria’s stunning Goulburn Valley just a half hour’s drive from the NSW border, offers fantastic golf, lawn bowls and comfortable accommodation set against the breathtaking views of the Goulburn Valley.

Part of our destination offering is our 14 Cabin Accommodation which includes a mix of 3 and 4 bedroom cabins.  This is a seasonal business with two high seasons & two low seasons.

We are seeking to employ a management couple as a job share type arrangement to take on the full running of these 14 cabins .  This is a very manageable operation for 2 people with occasional casual help at peak times.  You will be responsible for delivering a great experience for our guests as well as the full day-to-day operation of the property.  The Club’s primary market is golf groups however off-road guests and visiting workers also complement the occupancy.  This position would suit a management couple that understands that the role can be anywhere from incredibly busy to reasonably quiet, and can work their day-to-day duties around these ‘ebbs and flows’ of the business.

This is a very hands-on role that will include;

  • Welcoming guests and booking system
  • Managing all phone and online enquiries
  • Basic administration
  • Servicing of rooms and changing rooms over
  • Laundry
  • Breakfasts
  • Basic maintenance

Included is a 2 bedroom dwelling for this couple for the length of their service of this ‘live-in’ position.  This dwelling is situated on our golf course and is fully self-contained.

The Numurkah Golf & Bowls Club is offering this exciting opportunity to those who are peoples people, training and a handover can be offered by the outgoing Management team.  The incumbents are sad to be leaving the role, however, they are in a situation where they need to deal with some personal health issues.

We are offering a salary package which includes housing, meals, phone, electricity, golf membership and a “run around’ vehicle for local use along with a seasonal bonus scheme.
