The Intro
Clublinks Management has been appointed to operate the brand-new Bundha Sports Centre – a state-of-the-art, all-electric, 5-star green facility designed to be a hub for sport, health, and community connection.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of this flagship venue. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional community outcomes.
You will play a key role in ensuring Bundha operates at a best-practice level across all areas including courts, programs, customer experience, facilities management, and commercial performance, while leading a high-performing team.

More about the role
This is a hands-on leadership position at the heart of Bundha Sports Centre, where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for overseeing the operational performance of the courts, ensuring programs, services, and facilities are delivered to a consistently high standard. From managing a diverse team and driving customer experience, through to optimising court utilisation, supporting commercial outcomes, managing the asset and fostering strong community relationships, you’ll play a key role in shaping the success of this flagship facility. This role requires a proactive, solutions-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a venue that is welcoming, safe, and operating at industry best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Experience – champion an outstanding customer experience across all touchpoints
- Operations – manage and oversee stadium operations, scheduling and service delivery – including growth in bookings, utilisation, programs and events.
- Stakeholder Management – manage existing and grow new relationships
- Asset & Facility Management – all reactive and preventative measures to ensure the venue is presented and maintained to a high standard.
- People Management & Leadership – Lead the Duty Supervisor team
- Business Development and Performance – Monitor finance performance including revenue, expenditure and key KPIs
- Workplace Health & Safety – maintain a safe, inclusive and well managed environment for staff and patrons
About You
You are a strong operational leader who brings both commercial acumen and a passion for community sport and recreation.
You will demonstrate:
- Proven experience managing operations in a leisure, sport, or community facility
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate teams
- A customer-first mindset with a focus on exceptional service delivery
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and KPIs
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Sport Management, Business, or similar (desirable)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Working with Children Check and National Police Check
- Experience in multi-use or complex facilities (highly regarded)
