Website Country Club Tasmania

About Country Club Tasmania

Country Club Tasmania is one of Tasmania’s leading hospitality destinations, offering accommodation, dining, entertainment, conferencing and leisure experiences in a unique resort setting.

As part of Federal Hospitality, we’re proud to create memorable experiences for our guests while fostering a culture where our people can thrive. With an exciting future ahead, we’re looking for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our team and help support our leaders and employees across the business.

The Opportunity

There’s never been a more exciting time to join Country Club Tasmania. As we continue to invest in the future of the resort, including the launch of our new Championship Golf Course and broader Golf Precinct redevelopment, we’re entering a significant period of growth and transformation.

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you’ll partner closely with leaders across a diverse operational portfolio, providing trusted advice and guidance across the full employee lifecycle. From building leadership capability and supporting employee engagement initiatives to navigating complex employee relations matters and workforce planning activities, you’ll play a key role in helping our people and business thrive.

This is a true business partnering opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on operational support. In a fast-paced and people-focused environment, you’ll have the opportunity to influence positive workplace outcomes, shape the employee experience and contribute to the continued success of one of Tasmania’s most iconic hospitality destinations.

About You

You’re an experienced and forward-thinking HR professional who builds credibility quickly and partners confidently with leaders at all levels of the organisation.

You bring a strong understanding of employment legislation, employee relations and contemporary people practices, together with the confidence to guide leaders through both everyday people matters and more complex situations. Commercially minded and solutions focused, you are comfortable bringing a fresh perspective, asking thoughtful questions and constructively challenging established approaches where there is an opportunity to achieve a better outcome. You work collaboratively, balancing sound judgement with a progressive mindset to deliver positive outcomes for employees and the business.

Experience within hospitality, tourism, retail or another operationally focused environment will be highly regarded, although not essential.

What We Offer

At Country Club Tasmania, you’ll join a supportive and collaborative team where your contribution is valued and your professional growth is encouraged.

Based at Country Club Tasmania in Prospect Vale, you will also receive:
• Delicious FREE staff meal available per shift and FREE secure onsite parking (site dependant).
• Access to hundreds of discounts across many brands, helping you save on everyday expenses, including phone bills, fuel and groceries, fashion, restaurants, and entertainment.
• Supportive work environment with learning and development opportunities.
