Shine Bright

Be the heartbeat of a venue coming back to life!

Beresfield is back – and this is your chance to lead it.

After a long‑awaited reopening, Beresfield Golf Course is entering an exciting new chapter. Nestled between Newcastle and the Hunter Valley, this much‑loved community venue is being revitalised into a vibrant, inclusive destination for golfers, families and the wider community.

With a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, Beresfield Golf Course currently offers a 9‑hole course and Mini Golf but this is just the beginning. Major upgrades are underway, including enhanced food and beverage offerings, course regeneration, a new driving range and the introduction of padel courts.

We’re now searching for a hands‑on, customer focused Venue Manager to be the driving force behind this transformation and the face of Beresfield Golf Course.

Who are we?

At Clublinks, we manage places where people come together to have fun.

We’re bright, bold, nimble and not afraid to challenge the status quo. Our values say it all: Stand Out. Be Awesome. Speak Up. Get #it Done.

With a team of over 1,000 people across VIC, NSW, QLD and WA, we partner with local governments, private enterprise and institutions to grow thriving, sustainable community venues, and Beresfield Golf Course is one we’re particularly excited about!

About you

You’re an experienced venue or facility leader who thrives on ownership, variety and momentum.

You’re just as comfortable engaging with customers and the community as you are reviewing budgets, leading teams or rolling your sleeves up to get the job done. You love building something that matters and you take pride in watching a venue, and a team, grow under your leadership.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience managing venues across golf, sport & leisure, hospitality, events or similar sectors
  • Strong people leadership skills with a passion for developing talent
  • A proven ability to perform in fast‑paced, hands‑on environments
  • Sound financial and commercial acumen
  • Project management and redevelopment experience
  • Marketing, business development or activation experience
  • Confidence working with contractors, councils and key stakeholders
  • A track record of delivering results — and owning them

Why this role?

If you’ve ever wanted to:

  • Put your name to a venue transformation
  • Lead a community‑focused facility through growth and redevelopment
  • Build something meaningful from the ground up

This is that opportunity.

Applications will be reviewed as they are received, so don’t wait!
