Organisation Overview
Tour the Greens is a golf travel company. We specialise in golf tours and holidays for groups and individuals locally and Internationally. Our marquee tour each year is the US Masters in April with a number of other tours to premier golf events such as the Presidents Cup, Open Championships and other golfing destinations complementing our marquee tour.

Position Description
The primary role of this position is to service all inbound travel enquiries. This involves all aspects of the enquiry including quotation, itinerary build, travel servicing, budgeting and customer service. The knowledge of the game of golf and golfing locations is a must. In addition to servicing all inbound enquiries this role will be pivotal in assisting the managing director with marketing Tour the Greens and driving more enquiries through social media, website and other marketing channels.

Operating in a small diverse team you will from time to time be involved in other areas of the business including event management, sponsorship sales and sponsorship management.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Be the first point of contact for all inbound phone or email travel enquiries
• Diagnose a client’s specifications and wished and suggest suitable travel packages or services
• Organise all travel from the beginning to the end including accommodation, transfers, flights and other activities
• Maintain the Tour the Greens database
• Research new travel destinations on a regular basis
• Review all travel packages on a regular basis
• Assist with the management and growth of Tour the Greens social media accounts
• Assist with devising and implementing the Tour the Greens marketing plan
• Update the Tour the Greens website
• Maintain relationships with key suppliers and clients
• Achieve sales targets
• Host guided Tours both domestically and internationally when required

Essential Criteria
• Above average knowledge of the game of golf
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Good geographical knowledge both domestically and internationally
• Good phone mannerism
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft applications, website management platforms, social media and database management systems

Desired Criteria

• Tertiary Education in either sport, business, travel, tourism or other related fields
• Well-travelled
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team
• Marketing knowledge in particular new forms of marketing such as google, social media and viral marketing
