We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Accounts and Administration Manager to join our team and play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the business.

About the Role

This is a varied and rewarding role suited to someone who enjoys being at the centre of a busy business. As the Accounts and Administration Manager, you will provide important support across finance, human resources, office management, and executive administration.

Working closely with the Managing Director, Accountant, and broader management team, you will help ensure our systems, processes, records, and day-to-day operations run efficiently and professionally.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in being organised, and likes knowing that their work makes a genuine difference across the business. No two days will be exactly the same, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with a supportive leadership team in a hands-on, people-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily banking, cash requirements, reconciliations, and financial administration.
  • Support invoice processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reporting, and end-of-month preparation.
  • Work with the Events Team to track and reconcile event deposits and payments.
  • Manage Employment Hero, including employee records, onboarding, contracts, leave records, payroll information, and HR documentation.
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, induction, payroll administration, and HR record-keeping.
  • Manage and coordinate external vendors and service providers, including IT, office equipment suppliers, maintenance providers, and other operational partners.
  • Oversee office systems, equipment, consumables, and supplies to support smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Provide administrative support to the Managing Director and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, meeting agendas, and minutes as required.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

About You

You will be someone who is reliable, organised, and confident working across multiple areas of a business. You enjoy supporting others, solving problems, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Experience in accounts administration, office management, business support, or administration management.
  • Strong financial administration skills, including reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, leave management, and payroll administration.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Planner, and Teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.

  • Employment Hero
  • Mindbody
  • Microsoft Office 365
