Royal Queensland Golf Club is seeking a professional, service-focused and highly organised Administration Assistant (Member Services) to join our Member Services team.
This role plays an important part in the Club’s primary administrative contact function, supporting Members, guests, visitors and prospective Members across phone, email and face-to-face enquiries. The role provides administrative and service support across membership enquiries, Member accounts, golf bookings, lesson and clinic enquiries, reciprocal arrangements, reception relief and general Club enquiries.
This is more than a traditional administration role. It is an opportunity for someone who wants to build broad knowledge across the Member Services function and develop into a trusted, capable and knowledgeable member of the team. For the right person, this role provides an excellent development pathway within Member Services.
About the role
Reporting to the Membership & Member Services Manager, the Administration Assistant will:
- respond to Member, guest, visitor and public enquiries by phone, email and in person;
- provide accurate information and support across membership, Member accounts, golf bookings, lessons, clinics and general Club enquiries;
- assist with membership administration, including Member records, applications, category changes, access cards and related processes;
- support Waiting List and prospective Member enquiries;
- assist with golf, lesson and clinic administration, including bookings, changes, cancellations and related communication;
- provide reception relief during leave, breaks and peak periods;
- support reporting, correspondence and administrative preparation for membership-related processes;
- document procedures and contribute to process improvement; and
- work collaboratively with colleagues across the Club to ensure enquiries are followed through properly.
About you

- are interested in building broader capability across membership, golf administration and Member Services.
Experience in a membership organisation, club, hospitality, golf, sport or customer service environment would be highly regarded, but the right attitude, professionalism and willingness to learn are equally important.
