Newgreens Chatswood Golf Club re-opened in October 2025 as an innovative, multi-faceted destination bringing the community together across golf, health & wellness, hospitality and events.
At the heart of the venue is our reimagined 12-hole golf course, supported by a busy and growing Pro Shop and golf operations offering, alongside Tempo Café & Bistro and Dodici restaurant.
We are currently seeking an energetic and hands-on Part-Time Duty Manager to join the team, with a strong focus on Golf Shop and Golf Operations. This role offers consistent weekly hours and a structured roster, ideal for someone seeking stability in a dynamic golf and hospitality environment.
About the Role
This is a dynamic, on-the-floor leadership role with a primary focus on the Pro Shop and golf operations, ensuring a seamless, engaging and high-quality experience for all members and guests.
You will oversee the day-to-day running of the golf shop, tee sheets, retail operations, and customer experience, while also supporting Tempo Café as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Pro Shop, including customer service, bookings and retail
- Manage tee sheets, green fee transactions and general golf enquiries
- Deliver a high standard of member and guest experience across the golf offering
- Supervise and support team members across golf operations and front of house
- Lead shifts, ensuring smooth service flow across both golf and café (when required)
- Maintain retail presentation, merchandising and stock control within the Pro Shop
- Drive upselling opportunities across retail, golf services and F&B
- Ensure the golf shop and surrounding areas are clean, organised and professionally presented
- Assist with competitions, programs and golf events coordination
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Support collaboration across golf, café and functions to deliver a seamless venue experience
About You
- Previous experience in a supervisor or duty manager role within golf, retail or hospitality
- Strong understanding of golf operations or experience working in a Pro Shop (highly regarded)
- Confident managing retail, bookings and customer enquiries
- A hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Strong ability to balance golf operations and hospitality service delivery
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Flexible to work a rotating roster, including weekends and early starts
- RSA required
- Barista experience highly regarded
