We’re on the hunt for a Food & Beverage Manager to lead the charge at Cooee Café & Restaurant, located at the stunning Minnippi Golf & Range.

This isn’t your typical manager role. You’ll lead from the floor, setting the vibe, and building a team that delivers moments your guests will come back for.

Just 15 minutes from the Brisbane CBD, Minnippi is a brand-new 18-hole golf course and driving range, paired with a modern hospitality offering designed to become a true community hub.

What You’ll Own

This role is all about leading from the front while staying commercially sharp. You’ll balance hands on service with smart business management, bringing both together to create a seamless, high-energy operation.

On the floor, you’ll:

  • Set the standard for standout customer experiences
  • Lead, coach and energise your team to deliver at their best
  • Keep service running smooth, fast and guest-focused
  • Handle challenges with confidence and a solutions-first mindset
  • Bring the venue to life

Behind the scenes, you’ll:

  • Drive functions and events
  • Own rostering, costs and staff performance
  • Build your team — hiring, training and developing
  • Manage stock, compliance and food safety
  • Deliver clear reporting and keep leadership in the loop

About You

You’ll bring:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar leadership role
  • Strong people leadership
  • Understanding of rostering, costs and operations
  • RSA (essential) and Approved Manager (Desirable but not essential)
  • Solid food safety and WHS knowledge
  • Confidence in fast-paced, high-energy environments
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and evenings
  • First Aid, WWCC and Police Check
