As we continue to invest in the future of our golf course and team, an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Senior Greenkeeper to join our Course Maintenance Department. This role is ideal for a qualified turf professional seeking the next step in their career, with opportunities for leadership, specialist training and long-term progression within one of Australia’s most respected golf course maintenance teams.
About the Role
Working closely with the Course Superintendent and management team, the Senior Greenkeeper will play a key role in maintaining the presentation and performance of our championship course while providing guidance and support to other team members.
Responsibilities include:
– Contributing to the execution of high-quality turf management programs
– Operating a wide range of specialised turf maintenance machinery and equipment
– Applying fertilisers and plant protection products in accordance with best practice standards
– Leading and mentoring team members across daily course maintenance activities
– Assisting with golf course construction projects, including irrigation and drainage installation and turf establishment
– Supporting the implementation of workplace health, safety and environmental standards
– Contributing to the ongoing improvement and development of course presentation and playing conditions

The successful applicant will possess:
– Certificate III in Horticulture (Sports Turf Management)
– Demonstrated experience in fine turf maintenance, preferably within a golf course environment
– Strong leadership potential with the ability to motivate and support team members
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
– Commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental compliance
– Current Class C Driver’s Licence
