Our landscapes are a defining part of the Millbrook experience, offering guests a peaceful place to relax and reconnect with nature. As a Landscape Gardener, you will help care for and maintain our gardens, grounds and outdoor spaces to a high standard, contributing to the beauty and enjoyment of the resort.
Working as part of a collaborative and supportive team, you will assist with a variety of landscape maintenance tasks while continuing to develop your horticulture knowledge and practical skills.
What will your day look like?
- Maintaining and enhancing gardens, grounds and outdoor spaces across the resort
- Assisting with planting, pruning, garden maintenance and general landscape care
- Supporting the presentation and upkeep of the resort to ensure exceptional guest experiences
- Working safely and collaboratively as part of the Grounds team
- Learning and developing your horticulture knowledge and practical landscaping skills
- Contributing to a positive team culture and high standard of workmanship
What makes you right for the role?
- Minimum 1-2 years previous gardening, landscaping or outdoor work experience is essential
- An understanding of horticultural practises is required
- Ability to operate small plant machinery is advantageous
- A genuine enjoyment of working outdoors and creating well-maintained, attractive spaces
- A strong work ethic, high attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude, reliability and a desire to contribute to a supportive team environment
- A Full NZ Driver License is advantageous
Location: Arrowtown, Queenstown
Hours: Full time permanent (30/40 hours per week guaranteed)
