Position Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for the day to day leadership, coordination and performance of all on site operations at Royal Park Golf Course. This role ensures the venue operates efficiently, safely and professionally across golf operations, golf shop, customer service, facilities presentation and staff supervision.

The position plays a critical role in delivering a high quality public golf experience while supporting the strategic and operational objectives set by GreenSpace Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the golf course, golf shop and customer areas
• Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures are followed each day
• Maintain high presentation standards across all customer facing areas
• Identify and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively
• Assist with rostering to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times
• Supervise casual staff
• Complete daily operational reporting as required
• Assist with incident reporting and documentation
• Ensure compliance with OH&S policies and procedures
• Oversee retail presentation, stock control and merchandising within the golf shop
• Monitor point of sale accuracy and daily reconciliation
• Assist with stock ordering and supplier liaison
• Support golf competition operations and daily play management
• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service
• Ensure a welcoming environment for golfers of all abilities

Skills and Experience

• Experience in hospitality, retail, golf or leisure facility operations
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong customer service focus
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Good communication and problem solving skills
• Competent with point of sale systems and basic administration
• Understanding of golf operations is highly regarded

• Current First Aid certificate
• Current CPR certificate
