The Opportunity
The PGA of New Zealand is seeking a highly motivated and organised Education & Operations Coordinator to support the delivery, growth and innovation of the PGA Education, while contributing across the wider operations of the Association.
What you will be doing:
Working closely with the Education Manager, this role is central to ensuring the successful delivery of the PGA Associate Programme and the ongoing enhancement of our education systems, content, and learner experience. Education is the heart of this role, but it doesn’t end there.
As a versatile member of a small, high-performing team, you will also contribute to member communications, services and events. You’ll play a hands-on part in some of the most significant projects in the Associations history, including the redevelopment of the PGA Associate Programme and adoption of a new Learning Management System, with a potential CRM implementation to follow.

Key Responsibilities
Associate Programme Delivery
- Support the coordination and delivery of the PGA Associate Programme.
- Assist with workshop planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Monitor Associate progression, engagement, and completion.
Pastoral Care and Learner Support
- Provide ongoing pastoral care and support to PGA Associates.
- Act as a key point of contact for Associate queries and wellbeing.
- Foster a high-performance, supportive learning environment.
Assessment and Education Quality
- Assist in marking assessments and providing structured feedback.
- Support moderation and benchmarking of education standards.
- Ensure consistency and integrity across all assessment processes.
Content Development and Innovation
- Assist in the development and enhancement of education content.
- Contribute to modern, industry-relevant learning materials.
- Support continuous improvements of programme structure and delivery.
Playing Ability Standards
- Support the administration and tracking of Playing Ability Tests
- Assist in benchmarking and maintain performance standards across the programme.
Strategic Projects, Systems and Technology
- Support the redevelopment and launch of the new PGA Associate Programme
- Play a key role in the implementation and ongoing management of:
- New Learning Management System
- New CRM System (future implementation)
- Maintain learner data, reporting and programme insights.
What you will bring:
- PGA qualification or other relevant qualification (highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of the golf industry (advantageous)
- Understands education delivery, Learning environments or training programmes.
- Experience with LMS, CRM, Excel, Word, SharePoint, & MS Teams systems.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Energetic and highly motivated with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Value relationships with a passion for supporting people
In addition, you must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and current NZ drivers licence.
