The Victoria Golf Club, one of the premier clubs positioned on Melbourne’s famed Sandbelt, is looking to employ a Qualified Greenkeeper. We are seeking candidates who demonstrate a mix of technical turf management expertise, leadership potential, and professional personal qualities to assist in the day-to-day course maintenance and future development of the course.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual who has completed Certificate III in Turf Management and is willing to pursue further studies to advance their career. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of all aspects of golf course maintenance and construction, along with knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S) and Environmental Procedures. They will also demonstrate the attributes of a future turf manager.

Key Requirements

• Certificate III in Turf Management (minimum requirement)
• Willingness to undertake further professional development
• Sound knowledge of turf maintenance practices and construction methods
• Understanding of WH&S and Environmental Procedures
• Strong interest in fine turf management
• Excellent planning and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead/supervise co-workers

This is a full-time position, availability for rostered work on weekends and public holidays is required.
