We are seeking a Full-Time Sous Chef to support our Kitchen Manager in leading a high-performing kitchen and delivering exceptional food experiences across our restaurants, cafés, events and function spaces.

Clublinks operates Moore Park Golf (Sydney’s premier Golf entertainment venue), Located within 5km from the Sydney CBD, the Moore Park Precinct has thrived in recent times, growing substantially year on year and continuously enhancing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals with a strong focus on preparation, presentation and consistency.
  • Lead the delivery of food service for large-scale buffet, plated and function events.
  • Work across all kitchen sections, including pantry, ensuring smooth service and operational flexibility.
  • Support menu execution and adapt to menu changes and operational requirements as needed.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of outdoor catering and BBQ events.
  • Train, mentor and support kitchen team members to build capability and maintain high standards.
  • Maintain food quality, portion control, food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the Kitchen Manager to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak trading periods and events.

About You

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong preparation, cooking and plating skills across a variety of service styles.
  • Proven experience catering for large buffet and plated events.
  • A hands-on leader with excellent coaching, mentoring and team development skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to changing business demands and menu requirements.
  • Experience working in fast-paced hospitality, events or function environments.
  • Trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery.
  • Ability to work a flexible roster including weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.
  • Physically capable of meeting the inherent requirements of the role, including prolonged standing, lifting and regular stair use.
  • Own professional chef knives and the ability to maintain required chef tools and equipment
