In this role, you’ll play a key part in developing strong connections with the local community, delivering high-quality coaching, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for players of all ages and skill levels.

Centennial Parklands Sports Centre features 11 premium courts in a prime CBD/Eastern Suburbs location, making it a standout destination for tennis in Sydney.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a passionate and flexible Tennis Coach with availability across the week, including peak coaching times from Monday to Sunday.

• Delivering engaging individual and group coaching sessions for both juniors and adults, with a focus on technical skills and tactical development
• Running structured practice sessions, drills, and match play scenarios
• Tracking player progress and providing clear, constructive feedback
• Collaborating with fellow coaches to create and refine comprehensive training programs
• Staying current with the latest coaching techniques, trends, and industry best practices

About You & Requirements

• Demonstrated experience coaching tennis across a range of age groups and abilities.
• Solid knowledge of tennis techniques, strategies, and rules.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with players, parents, and colleagues.
• A flexible coaching approach, adapting to new information and individual learning styles.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Accreditation from a recognised tennis coaching body (e.g., Tennis Australia, ATPCA) — preferred but not essential
• Current Working with Children Check, and First Aid certification.
