About the role

You will be a member of our Warehouse Operations team, located at our South Pacific Headquarters in Southeast Melbourne. As a hands-on leader, you will be responsible for leading our warehouse team, driving operational efficiency through best-practice processes, ensuring inventory accuracy and stock management, and providing a work environment that complies with workplace health and safety legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure workplace health and safety standards and compliance requirements are met.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and effective stock management processes.
• Support the relevant Inventory Controllers with planning and execution of product launch requirements.
• Coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, replenishment, cycle counts and dispatch.
• Monitor and achieve productivity, quality and service KPIs.
• Drive operational efficiency through process improvements and best practice.
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure driver compliance while on-site.
• Reconcile the monthly CHEP pallet account.
• Lead, coach and develop warehouse team members to achieve operational goals.

About you

• Completed Year 12 or equivalent secondary education.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience leading high-performing teams in a warehouse, distribution, logistics or supply chain environment.
• Confident use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and strong project management capability.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, influencing and negotiation skills.
