Position Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for the day to day leadership, coordination and performance of all on site operations at Royal Park Golf Course. This role ensures the venue operates efficiently, safely and professionally across golf operations, golf shop, customer service, facilities presentation and staff supervision.

The position plays a critical role in delivering a high quality public golf experience while supporting the strategic and operational objectives set by GreenSpace Management.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the golf course, golf shop and customer areas

  • Maintain high presentation standards across all customer facing areas

Horticulturist Lead – Indooroopilly Golf Club

Join the Green Team at Indooroopilly Golf Club (IGC)! As one of Australia’s most highly respected private golf clubs, situated on 131-hectare site 10 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD. Key Responsibilities:
  • Under the direction of the Course Manager responsible for the programming, budgeting and maintenance of the horticulture department at Indooroopilly Golf Club.
  • Direct and co-ordinate staff duties to a team of 5 horticulturists + 2 arborists
  • Hold a Chemical Application licence and conduct spraying as per schedule.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a horticulturist in a managerial position is beneficial;
  • Minimally hold a Certificate III in Horticulture;
  • Valid driver’s license and qualified to work full time within Australia;

The Role:

Reporting to the Clubhouse Operations Manager you will be responsible for undertaking all public area, housekeeping, event set up and pack down and stores duties in an efficient and professional manner.

This is a part-time role offering 20-25 hours per week, requiring availability to work shifts during the week and on weekends for a mixture of open/close shifts ranging between 6am starts to 2pm finishes.

Key tasks include:

Housekeeping

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene across guest rooms and public areas (lobby, lifts, stairways, toliets).
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Support the events team with setup, bump-in/bump-out, and pack-down of functions.

Stores

  • Ensure timely ordering and proper storage of stock in designated areas.
  • Keep stock and storage areas secure; report discrepancies to the Clubhouse Operations Manager.
  • Rotate perishable stock to prevent waste.
  • Distribute stock as per requisitions or approved orders.
  • Ensure safe delivery of stock; report any damage or losses.
  • Assist in managing the garbage room and maintain the loading dock per Club protocols.

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping, cleaning or other similar role gained within a quality hotel environment is essential.
